- Sizing is important! Never buy your child a “one size fits all” necklace. To find the most appropriate length for your child, we recommend measuring using a piece of yarn. You should be able to put two fingers between your child’s neck and the necklace and the child should not be able to reach the necklace to his/her mouth. Our necklaces are made for wearing, never for chewing!

- DIRECTIONS FOR USE Wear your Baltic Amber necklace next to the skin, under clothing, and as close to the pain source as possible. For children, remove jewelry during nap and sleep times. Do not wear jewelry in the bath or pool. Avoid detergents and cleansers; they can leave a residue that inhibits Baltic Amber’s healing properties.
- SAFETY: Children must be supervised while wearing jewelry. Our necklaces are designed, however, with the safety of children in mind. Each bead is individually knotted on the strand. If the necklace were to break, only one small bead would be released rather than all of the beads on the strand. All of our necklaces have a safety release built in. Our necklaces pass the European safety standard of 15 lbs of pull. This means that if the necklace were to get caught on something, the clasp will open.
